Christine Coletta serves as the Secretary to the Board at THRIVE. She is an enthusiastic advocate and an effective leader, always going above and beyond her official duties to support initiatives that aid cancer patients and their families. THRIVE’s mission profoundly resonates with Christine. She has had her own personal experiences with cancer and its effects on her loved ones, witnessing both victories and losses. It fuels her commitment to supporting the cancer community. Her expertise and dedication find a powerful purpose at THRIVE.
With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University, Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Chamberlain University, and Certified Nurse Educator certification, she possesses profound expertise in the field of nursing. Currently serving as Assistant Program Director and Assistant Professor at Sacred Heart University, she shapes future generations of nurses with her knowledge and passion.
Christine grew up in Easton, CT, but now resides in Trumbull. She takes immense pride in being a mother of four boys – Sam, Ben, Brayden, and Joshua. She shares her life with her partner, Rob, and feels fortunate to be raising Alexandra, who is 10 years old.
In her leisure time, Christine enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and traveling. She holds a Level Three certification in healing touch, which showcases her holistic approach towards promoting wellness. Her guiding principle is to always be kind because we never know what someone else may be going through. This philosophy drives her commitment to making THRIVE a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
