Maureen is an experienced oncology nurse who has been in the field for 25 years. She has a strong passion for empowering patients and has witnessed their remarkable strength during their most vulnerable moments. Her dedication to caregiving extends to her personal life, where she has a supportive husband, seven children, six grandchildren, and a giant lovable dog named Lady Primrose. Maureen’s outstanding support for oncology patients has been recognized by the 2024 Oncology Certified Nurse of the Year Award, and she has also served as the president of the Chapter of Southwestern CT Oncology.
Maureen’s academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University, a prestigious Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) designation, and further training from the Yale School of Management Executive Education and the Yale Women’s Leadership Certificate Program. This unique blend of academic rigor and leadership training fuels her impact on her patients’ lives and the success of the Thrive community.
But Maureen’s passion for helping others extends beyond treatment. She envisions a welcoming and bold environment that fosters hope and positive experiences.
